We are open for all church members and our Sunday School program is in full swing. The nursery has workers available if you would like to place your child in their care. We are not running our bus for ministry or visitors at this time. Feel free to wear your masks or continue to watch via Livestream on Youtube or Facebook if you are immune compromised or elderly.
We will be having Camp Canaanland this summer. One junior week and one senior week. Corona Virus recommendations are being met with limited spots available so get your registrations in as soon as possible.
Our school will be starting in September.
Old School Gathering is Monday, October 5, 2020 and we are looking forward to “One Big Day.”
With the current up cycle in Corona cases in Chippewa County, we are making sure to sanitize well and we have face masks and hand sanitizer available in the main entrance lobby. Stay Healthy and Keep Serving God!
We will begin slowly opening up our services on Sunday, May 31. Our Sunday School program will begin again on Sunday, June 7 in the lower level of the church for all grades. Adults will be in the auditorium. We will continue to stay 6 feet apart in the auditorium. Feel free to wear your masks or continue to watch via Livestream on Youtube or Facebook if you are immune compromised or elderly and have health concerns. Nursery will be available beginning June 7.
Our Maplewood High School Commencement Ceremony will be moved from Sunday, May 24 to Sunday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m.
Missionary Dean Zemke will be sharing his ministry with us on Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m.
We continue to Live Stream our services at http://live.goodnewstoday.us/ and have had much positive feedback. Live video is also available through our Facebook site. This Facebook site has been our most watched with over 1000 views each week. We will never know the exact number of people hearing the messages but trust the Lord is using this pandemic for His Good and His Will. When you come back to church we will continue to minister with live stream outlets to reach people that cannot attend services, who live far from us, and those who are unsaved and searching for God’s truth.
Continue witnessing, continue reading the Bible, continue praying, and continue to BE the Church while we are not in the church building. The day is fast approaching. “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” I Thessalonians 5:2
